(almost) 9 months post op on march 1st. so far so good. do i regret it? 96% of the time no, the other 4% is when my anxiety gets the best of me and i freak. 6 hours of surgery, 5 hours in recovery and 4 days in the hospital where i almost drove my family crazy and i’m straighter, i went from 53 degrees to 17 degrees, my hips are more centered and i’m more comfortable. plus i got myself a nifty scar. i have the days where i ache mainly when it’s going to rain but it’s nothing horrible and i think worth it. so while it wasn’t the best summer i ever had, i think i made the right decision.
